Summer Spotlight
Sharing Faith Initiative Project Director Carolyn Helsel traveled to Brite Seminary in June to participate in a new fellowship for Creative Worship and Prophetic Preaching. One the fruits of this collaboration will be an online event in early August involving reflecting on our personal stories of change, and another event in early February where Dr. Helsel will bring insights from our Children’s Sermons by Children research to help congregations consider children as co-proclaimers. Both events are offered through Brite, and for more information you can visit their website.
As a team, we concluded our first cohort of Children in Worship, and we look forward to starting another cohort of children’s ministry leaders next January.
Another cohort of clergy of small congregations gets started in a few weeks, and we have opened up applications for our Lay Preachers cohort. Check below for more details and the link to register.
